In our game, you're a transfer student to a biology university, where you'll delve into a world filled with unique and mysterious plants. As you explore the fields and greenhouses, you'll cultivate relationships (you choose either they're friends or partners!) with your anthropomorphic plant companions, unraveling secrets and challenges, all the while connecting with nature and embarking on a journey of growth, learning, and discovery.

Don't forget to have some water!

This prototype was created within 48 hours as a submission to GameJam Plus 23/24. It achieved 2nd place in a regional competition, coming very close to 1st place by a narrow margin.

If you'd like to explore more of Love Garden, stay with us for the next 3 months, as we intend to refine and expand the game with additional content!

Currently only available in Brazilian Portuguese. But we're working on an English translation that should release soon enough :^)

Install instructions

  • If the file is compressed (.zip), unzip and play. 
  • If the file is an .exe, follow the installer instructions and then execute it.
  • If you've chosen the mobile version, after the download is complete click on the file to install it.

Important Notice: 

When downloading and attempting to run the game, your operating system may display a warning regarding the installation of a program from an unknown source. In such cases, you just have to choose the option to allow the files. Temporarily disabling your internet connection or antivirus can work too.
This also applies to the mobile version.

For Linux users:

Depending on the version of Ubuntu that you have, additional dependencies may need to be installed to permit you to play the game. The dependencies are: 

libcurl4
libopenal1
